BANTAM 'A' CHAMPIONS !!!
The Eagles made it thru to the Championship Game and faced the NE Jr. Hurricanes for the Bantam 'A' title. The Eagles took control early when goaltender Zack Raposa hit Joey Correia in the nuetral zone with a pass and Joey broke in and scored to make it 1-0. The Eagles kept control of the game but couldn't get another goal until the second when John Gibau fed Tristin Costa behind the net, who in turn hit Cody Pasic rotating to the front of the net with a sweet pass that Cody buried to put the Eagles up 2-0. The Eagles continued to dominate play, but didn't score again until the third when Jason Silva passed to Josh St. Martin on the point and Josh's shot was tipped in by Tristin. Brendan Cytulik held the fort the rest of the way and Eagles took home the March Meltdown Bantam A championship. A fantastic job by all. Congratulations to the entire team that made the trip up to NH: Jack McCarthy, Sam Dacosta, Nick Cardoso, Matt Kelley, Nat Estes, Tim Tierney, John Gibau, Joey Correia, Josh St. Martin, Tristin Costa, Cody Pasic, Jay Silva, Brendan Cytulik and Zack Raposa.
